Welcome to ApnaHarda (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy governs the privacy policies and practices of our mobile application, ApnaHarda.

By using the ApnaHarda app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or when you participate in activities on the App (such as posting a property, marketplace item, business listing, or mandi prices).

Personal Information: Name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, and physical address/village/tahsil (if provided in your profile or listings).
User-Generated Content (UGC): Photos, descriptions, pricing, and locations for businesses, properties, and marketplace items that you choose to upload.
Device Permissions:
- Camera & Photo Library: To allow you to upload images for your profile and listings.
- Location Data: To provide location-based services or accurately tag your listings. (Only if granted).
Usage Data: We may collect data automatically using Firebase Analytics (e.g., app interactions, device type, OS version, and crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics) to improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:

To facilitate account creation and logon process (via Firebase Authentication).
To post and manage your User-Generated Content (Listings).
To enable user-to-user communication (e.g., providing your WhatsApp number or phone number publicly to buyers/sellers if you create a listing).
To send administrative information to you (e.g., updates, security alerts, and push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
To improve App stability and performance by analyzing crash logs.

3. Sharing Your Information

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

Publicly Available Data: Any information you include in your Business, Property, or Marketplace listings (including photos and contact numbers) will be visible to other users of the App.
Third-Party Service Providers: We share data with Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics) and Google AdMob to run the infrastructure and display relevant advertisements.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Safety

ApnaHarda is a community platform. To ensure safety:

We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive users.
Users can Report or Flag any inappropriate listing directly from the App.
You can Edit or Delete your own listings at any time from the Profile section.
Reported content will be reviewed by our moderation team and may be removed without prior notice, and offending users may be banned.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law. You can delete your account or specific listings at any time through the App’s Profile settings. Upon deletion, your public listings will be immediately removed from active view.

6. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information (backed by Google Cloud/Firebase security protocols). While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
