ApnaHarda Account & Data Deletion

This page provides information on how users of the ApnaHarda mobile application can request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.

📱 Method 1: Delete Directly Inside the ApnaHarda App

You can delete your account instantly from within the mobile app without waiting:

1. Open the ApnaHarda app on your device.
2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Tap Edit Profile.
4. Scroll down to the bottom and tap the red Delete Account button.
5. Review the confirmation prompt and tap Delete Permanently.

Your profile, authentication record, and all listings will be deleted immediately upon confirmation.

🌐 Method 2: Request Deletion via Web / Email

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your phone, you can request account deletion by emailing our support team.

What Data is Deleted?

When an account is deleted, the following data is permanently purged from our database and Firebase servers:

• Personal Profile Information: First name, last name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, bio, and profile photo.
• Location Data: Village, tahsil, postal address, and stored GPS coordinates.
• All User Listings: All posted items across Mandi crops, Livestock/animals, Properties, Marketplace goods, and Business directory listings.
• Device Identifiers: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push notification tokens.
• Authentication Credentials: Firebase Auth UID and phone authentication records.

What Data is Retained?

No personal identifying information is retained after account deletion. Non-personally identifiable aggregate analytics (e.g. anonymous app usage metrics) or records required for legal, tax, or fraud prevention compliance may be retained for up to 90 days, after which they are automatically purged.
